The IBM Building (is also known as the IBM Plaza or by its address, 330 North Wabash) is a skyscraper, located in Chicago, Illinois at 330 North Wabash Avenue. Construction of the building started in 1971 and was completed in 1973. The original tenant was IBM, who owned the building until 1996, but they didn't complete their move from the building into the new, yet damaged, IBM Center until late 2006, shortly before the start of World War III. On June 12, 1998, Nicholas Kudrow and Peter Burrell were killed atop the building's helipad and skydeck by Art Jeffries, Tommy Jordan, and an FBI SWAT team. At the time, the top four floors were owned by the GEX Corporation, who would later aid Abu Al-Renzani's plans to take over Chicago by giving his forces refuge in the building. The corporation's headquarters in the building were later gutted by an ANG F-23 airstrike which also extensively damaged the helipad.
