Jesse Lynch is the eldest son of Daniel and Victoria Lynch, older brother of Jake Lynch, and cousin of Simon and Peter Lynch. Jesse and his family arrived in Chicago on March 8 for Simon's upcoming birthday, unaware of what their cousin was now involved in. With consent from their parents, Jesse and Jake were transported from O'Hare by FBI Special Agent Art Jeffries along with Simon and Agent Kollin Redar. The group was forced to take refuge at 4948 North Natchez Avenue after they were pursued by CPD Officer Jones. Jesse and his brother were present along with their parents for Simon's 10th birthday at Jeffries' apartment on March 12. By April 3, Jesse and Jake had returned, at which time Chas Ohlmeyer - Simon's therapist - escorted them to Jeffries, who told them the events surrounding why Simon was missing that day, and what had truly happened to him in June 1998. As a result, Jesse and Jake were reluctantly debriefed at the city field office by local SAC Joe Lomax, A-SAC Tommy Jordan, and a recovering Kollin Redar.
