Miko John Hughes is an American actor, born on February 22, 1986 in Apple Valley, California. He began his acting career in the 1989 film Pet Sematary (based on the book of the same name by Stephen King) at the age of three. Hughes' most famous role was as nine year-old autistic savant Simon Lynch, opposite Bruce Willis in 1998's Mercury Rising. Another, slightly less well known role of his was as Jordan Barnett in 1997's Zeus and Roxanne (also character Simon Lynch's favorite movie in 1999); one of his more memorable movie moments was in 1990's Kindergarten Cop, when he informed Arnold Schwarzenegger of the 'reproductive differences' between males and females. Hughes also appeared for a 3-episode arc in the second season of the sci-fi series Roswell in 2000 as Nicholas Crawford, the leader of a group of hostile aliens. In 2003, he appeared for yet another 3-episode arc, this time on the FOX series Boston Public as Peter Feldman, a student who receives an electric shock and becomes convinced that he is Jesus.
